The University Committee meets monthly during the academic year. During the summer, the committee reviews proposals electronically, in order to consider changes that are prompted by accreditation issues or to clear any excessive backlog.
Every attempt is made to schedule courses and degree program changes in the order received. Priority is given to changes that affect curriculum models. Departments proposing complex changes in curricula should contact the Coordinator for Curriculum Management for help, if questions arise during the preparation of the requests.
Deadlines for submissions are one (1) week prior to scheduled meeting dates. Advance notification is required for any large (i.e. greater than ten (10) proposals) submission.
Given the high volume of changes received at certain peak times, occasional delays may occur.
